Drivers Mate

We're just on the tipping point of being able to get a 2^nd delivery vehicle on the road and this would need someone to assist one of my drivers with unloading at customers sites.

Our client manufactures a wide range of quality wooden benches used for the hospitality industry, pubs, restaurants and alike.

You will largely be assisting the driver in loading and unloading 1200-1500kg of timber furniture so you will need to be fit, but this is usually spread out over 4-8 deliveries: over an average of 200-250miles in a day usually local area.

Usual starting time is 7am, this wouldn't be full time initially as it's very much dependant on orders and the of course the weather.
