Electrical Design Engineer - Flexible Hybrid

Our client is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer.
They are happy for the Engineer working flexible Hybrid. Our client are manufacturers of chemically bonded sand equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing electrical and electronic designs for new projects (Eplan).
- Performing Safety calculations and risk assessments for machines and systems (Sistema).
- Providing advice on electrical issues of machines or systems.
- Developing and documenting test procedures for designed machinery.
- Document to the required level for CE compliance, the electrics of equipment developed.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position.
- Experience within the manufacturing industry.
- Thorough understanding of electrical concepts, electrical power systems, computers, and software.
- Knowledge & experience with AutoCAD Electrical /EPLAN.
- Knowledge of machinery safety concepts and requirements.
- Ability to create, read and interpret Electrical Schematics.
- Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Experience with industrial networks from the electrical design point of view:
- CC IE Link
- Profinet
- Profibus
- Ethernet/IP
- Experience with PLC system from the electrical design point of view:
- Siemens
- Mitsubishi
- Allen Bradley
- Experience with PID Loops, Analogue, and RFID systems.
- Knowledge about gas controls and standards would also be an advantage.

Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 to 16.45 (45 minutes lunch).
The role is full-time based on a 37-hour week. However, there may be the requirement to work outside of these normal hours.
