Working as part of the Financial Analysis team in Peterborough we require a temporary replacement for someone going on maternity leave mid-July. Ideal start date would be mid-June so that there is still a couple of weeks of handover time. Initial duration is 6-7 months with opportunity to extend up to a year.
· Must be a qualified accountant, with at least 3 years of experience. · Experience with international supply chain (ideally in manufacturing). · Attention to detail, inquisitive mind.
Responsible for the preparation of complex and interpretive financial analyses and reports. Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts and statistical reporting.
· Prepares complex financial analyses and reports for department management. · Prepares analyses, reports, and special studies for management. · Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting. · Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis. · Coaches less-experienced Financial Analysts. · Finance Business Partnering to the Global Supply Chain Director. · Act as finance leader in the SBP Supply steps and ensure the financial requirements of the business are considered in all decisions and escalations. · Lead the financial support to the Supply Chain function in areas such as Inventory, cost reduction, elimination of wastage, manufacturing variances, standardization of global processes etc.
· Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
· Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required. · Manufacturing experience would be of benefit
