For: Purchasing Administrator - Bar Hill - Temporary
Pay: GBP8.30 - GBP9.00 per hour Meyer Scott Ref: VR/07377
Our client are a sophisticated company specialising in gas and liquid control systems, based in Bar Hill. This role is to support the Purchasing Team with general administrations to ensure the smooth running of the Purchasing Department.
Main Duties/ Responsibilities
· Progress orders and update MRP accordingly. · Update MRP with open purchase order report information provided by suppliers · General administration of purchasing department · Provide shortage/delivery dates for Sales and Production · Add acknowledged delivery dates to the system · Alerting Sales team to any changes in delivery · Alerting Purchasing team and sales to price queries · Any other duties relevant to the role as instructed by the Line Manager and Operations Director.
· At least 3 years working experience in administrations · A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel (intermediate) · Some experience in the use of an ERP/MRP system · Good communications skills
