Our client is a growing Technology company looking for their next valued team member.
They provide marine electronics, such as AIS, GPS, depth sensor and much more.

Main Responsibilities:
- Managing 2 email boxes, answering emails and telephone queries concerning products, providing customers', with advice on recent purchases or assisting them with which product would best suit their requirements.
- Carrying out the PCB assembly jobs from start to finish, as per customer requirements.
- Assisting the Technical Support Engineer with testing and diagnosing faults on marine electronics products
- Assisting with creating documentation (for example manuals/setup guides) for marine electronic products.
- Participate and support the team in NPD (New Product Design) this includes field testing (no travelling will be required).
The ideal candidate:
- You must have a keen interest in electronics!
- The main part of this role is to provide technical support to customers', either on the telephone or by email.
- There may be a requirement to carry out a small amount of hand assembly on site, so at times you will be required to assist the Technical Support Engineer in their work. Therefore, some experience of soldering is advantageous, however, for the right candidate, full training can be provided.
- Product training will be provided, but you should have plenty of enthusiasm and a willingness to learn about products in order, to support customers.
- You will have experience using MS Office, and ideally CRM software and experience working in an office environment.
- The right candidate must be able to show initiative, be forward thinking, enthusiastic and willing to the go the extra mile and support the rest of the team when the need arises.
- You will be a confident, concise communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Customers are located worldwide, so you will need to be able to talk to people at different levels.
- You will have a great eye for detail.
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (30 mins lunch break)
Holidays: 21 (plus the statutory 8 bank holidays)
