Our client, a large manufacturing company based in Bar Hill. They are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the manufacturing team. If successful you will be a key member of the team responsible for manufacturing various electronic and mechanical assemblies for the companys products to the required company training standards within set timescales. You will produce components providing a proactive service to meet the needs of our internal and external customers, ensuring quality and service levels are met.

Key tasks / Accountabilities
Manufacture various types of assemblies following company work procedures, using bonding and fixing techniques i.e. epoxy resins, screws, nuts, drilling etc.
Assist, when required, in other areas of the company such as packing area
Assist with the building of prototypes
Conduct initial testing of piece parts used in production assemblies
Adhere to all ISO9000 procedures.
Adhere to material control procedures
Adhere to correct usage of MES (Manufacturing execution system)
Inform the team leader asap of any delays in test of products, which are likely to affect despatch to the customer
Actively participate in all continuous improvement activities and ongoing projects as required
Undertake all tasks as required in accordance with standard company working practices and quality procedure
Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping in all areas
Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
Carry out any other reasonable duty as requested by team leader

Good standard of education
Training will be provided, to support all the requirements for the role, but previous equivalent experience in a similar environment would be useful

This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week on an annualised hours plan which will require you to work 0630 - 1630, Monday to Thursday with the flexibility to work Fridays (hours are banked) as required in line with fluctuating customer demand.
Please note: due to the nature of the role and tasks the individual must be comfortable standing for long periods of time at a workstation and participating in manual handling activities.
